Snehalayaa Silks was built to keep that conversation intact. Every saree in this house is sourced directly from Kanchipuram weavers. Every zari is genuine. Every silk has a provenance. Every saree in Snehalayaa passes through three checkpoints before it reaches you — sourcing, curation, and the drape — because the chain is only as strong as its weakest thread.
We go to Kanchipuram. Not to a distributor's warehouse, not to a trade fair catalogue — to the weaving clusters, the family looms, the artisans whose craft is measured in generations. No intermediaries. No markups for names you don't need.
Not every silk that comes from Kanchipuram comes into this house. We choose for zari integrity, weave density, colour stability, and longevity — the properties that make a saree an heirloom rather than a purchase. Six collections, each curated for a different moment in a woman's life.

Actress Sneha didn't lend her name to a silk brand. She built the sourcing relationships, set the quality standard, and opened this house in Coimbatore because she believed the city deserved better than what was available.
Every saree that carries the Snehalayaa name has been approved against a checklist she set: zari must be genuine, weave count must meet minimum, colour must hold across 20 washes. The name on the door is the guarantee on the saree.
353,000 Instagram followers didn't arrive by accident. Snehalayaa has spent years documenting real women wearing real silks — not campaign shoots, not model photographs. The audience trusts the brand because the brand trusts its customers with honesty.

Every silk comes directly from Kanchipuram. No middlemen, no aggregated collections, no "Kanchipuram-style" approximations. Direct loom, always.
Genuine zari — silver or gold — is the defining mark of a real Kanchipuram. Tested zari is cheaper and looks almost identical. We use genuine. The difference is in the hand of the saree and its life span.
A saree is a long-term decision. Walk in when you like. Ask every question. Come back three times. Bring everyone. The showroom is not a sales floor — it is a choosing room.
